I’m Suweila, a multidisciplinary artist drawn to color, texture, and emotional storytelling.
I work intuitively, blending painting with textile techniques like embroidery, beading, and crochet to create layered, tactile pieces. My work is influenced by spirituality, symbolism, and the human experience, but also by pop culture and contemporary icons. I often draw inspiration from artists like Rosalía, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, not just their music, but their visual worlds, storytelling, and cultural impact.
With a background in fashion design, I have a strong sensitivity to color, composition, and material. One of my strengths lies in translating emotion, energy, and identity into visual form, creating work that feels both personal and culturally connected rather than purely decorative.
